About Plantion

Plantion Flower Auction, located in Ede, is a purchasing centre for florists, garden centre owners, and all other green professionals in the horticultural sector. You can determine how and when you make purchases: at the purchasing centre in Ede or 24/7 via the webshop. The heart of the company is still the auction clock: there you can see, feel, smell, and buy the fresh supply five mornings a week through the auction system. In addition, you can choose to purchase via Clock Pre-sale or Remote Buying. At Plantion Shop & Go, you'll find everything under one roof. Here, you can choose from a large assortment of indoor and outdoor plants and hardware both physically and online. Plantion Wholesale Centre is the cash & carry purchasing centre for green entrepreneurs in the Netherlands. You can purchase cut flowers, indoor and outdoor plants, trend items, decoration materials, and packaging there.

Organisation

Plantion is a cooperation of which more than 300 predominantly Dutch flower and plant growers are members. The members are the main shareholders of Plantion. With their products, craftsmanship, and involvement, they form the basis of the company. Continuity and long-term vision are more important than short-term profit maximisation. As a cooperative company, Plantion focuses on people and the environment and engages in corporate social responsibility.

Partnership with Marginpar

There is a good representation of the Marginpar assortment in suitable volumes at Plantion. The buyer can also book flowers directly from Clock Pre-sale and is therefore assured of the product.

Through Plantion, we can also offer something special: the Marginpar mix. Multiple days a week, auction trolleys are prepared in our distribution centre. The buckets contain a fixed number of bunches. Bunches that no longer fit in the buckets are offered mixed at Plantion as the Marginpar mix. Ideal for buyers who want to purchase smaller quantities per variety. The entire proceeds from the mixed buckets go to the Marginpar Foundation. The Marginpar Foundation is committed to making a difference in the daily lives of the communities around our (partner) farms.
