About RFH China

Royal FloraHolland, a leading international cooperation and marketplace for floriculture, has been bringing growers and buyers together for a hundred years. In addition to its branches in the Netherlands, Royal FloraHolland is focused on international growth. The development of RFH China is an important part of this. RFH China has an office in Shanghai and serves the wholesale centres in Guangzhou and Shanghai. Because RFH China understands its customers well and speaks the language, it is possible for growers from different countries to supply flowers to the Chinese market.

Direct transport connection

There are good flight connections to Kenya, Tanzania, and Ethiopia, allowing flowers to be transported directly to China. This ensures that the flowers arrive at their destination more quickly, which benefits the quality. RFH China has established partnerships with a network of Chinese wholesalers who purchase flowers and deliver them to florists. Additionally, RFH China provides support in logistics, customs, and financial services.

Partnership with Marginpar

In 2018, Marginpar participated in the RFH China pilot program for the first time with one farm in Kenya. Subsequently, all other farms in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Tanzania have been included. The pilot has since evolved into an established partnership. Marginpar delivers flowers to Shanghai and Guangzhou every week, working together to efficiently serve the market. Some favourite products in China include Eryngium, Clematis, and Astrantia.
