Clematis Amazing® Kyiv: a tribute to Ukraine
Marginpar supports 'Love not War' by changing the name of one of its best-known products.
We are deeply concerned about the war in Ukraine. Our hearts break when we see the many women and children who cross the border in search of safety. Leaving behind homes and men. They stay behind, together with millions of civilians who do not want to or cannot flee, and fight for their existence. Meanwhile, bombs and bullets keep hitting their homes and shelters. The whole country has a hard time and even the capital Kyiv, one of the oldest cities in Eastern Europe, is being destroyed.
Clematis Amazing® Kyiv
As a tribute to the brave citizens, Marginpar, in agreement with breeder J. Van Zoest, changed the name of Clematis Amazing® Inspiration to Clematis Amazing® Kyiv.
Donation to Giro 555
For a period of two weeks, from March 22 to April 5, the entire proceeds of Clematis Amazing® Kyiv will be donated to Giro 555 for humanitarian aid in Ukraine and surrounding countries. However, that is not all. The Marginpar Foundation, having heard of this initiative, agreed to double the final amount. With this we hope to raise a significant sum to support the cooperating aid organisations in helping refugees with food, water, clothing, medicines, shelter and psychological support.
