Dutch Society in Geneva raises 67,000 euros for War Child
LM Flower Fashion decorated hotel Fairmont Le Montreux Palace in Geneva with flowers in white tones, sponsored by Marginpar a.o. Recently a grand Great Gatsby Gala took place here to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Dutch Society in Geneva. A special auction was organised as well.
Special flower arrangements (including Eryngium Sirius Questar®, Astrantia Billion Star®, Miscanthus White Cloud, Phlox Icecap, Hypericum Ivory Flair®, Chasmanthium, Ammi Visnaga and Dianthus Everest) adorned the room where later on an auction was to take place for War Child. The guests looked flamboyant in Great Gatsby style.
Marc Knijnenburg and Raymond Bogaarts of LM Flower Fashion had perfectly embraced the Great Gatsby theme: the flowers sparkled and the guests enjoyed themselves.
Altogether, the gala evening led to an auction proceeds of almost 67,000 euros for War Child (a non profit organisation providing help for children in conflict-affected areas).
