Zimbabwe
We have been growing our flowers in Zimbabwe since 1988. This is where the Marginpar story begins. We work together with three partner farms that grow our flowers under exclusive license in a unique niche climate. Here we grow Astrantia, Eryngium and Clematis.
TSANGA FLORA FARM
This flower farm covers 18 hectares of cultivated area and is located in Juliasdale, near the foothills of the Nyanga Mountains at an altitude of 1,800 meters. The farm specialises in the cultivation of Astrantia Roma® and Eryngium Questar® varieties.
DOMBERA FLOWERS
Dombera is located in the Chimanimani Mountains in Zimbabwe, near the border with Mozambique, at an altitude of 1,400 meters. This farm produces Eryngium Questar® varieties.
SUNSHINE FLOWERS
Sunshine Flowers is a Marginpar grower of the first hour, the two companies have a long history together. This flower farm is located next to the international airport in Harare. They mainly produce the Clematis Amazing® series and the Eryngium Questar® series.
Next to growing flowers, they also run a sanctuary for wild animals: "Wild is Life"
CLAREMONT
The collaboration with Claremont began back in the 1990s, when they started growing Eryngium for Marginpar. After a break of several years, the farm has been back under the ownership of our partners in Zimbabwe since 2021. The first flowers that have been planted here are Eryngium Supernova Questar® and Eryngium Orion Questar®. Eventually, the farm will expand to 40 hectares filled with flower fields. It is located in Juliasdale, near the foothills of the Nyanga Mountains at an altitude of 1,900 meters.
