About the role

This role ensures effective diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of employee health cases, promotes workplace safety, and implements wellness initiatives that enhance employee well-being, productivity, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Clinical Care & Case Management
    Provide quality clinical care by assessing, diagnosing, and treating employees’ health conditions, monitor patient progress, respond promptly to emergencies, and deliver relevant health education. Ensure accurate documentation of all health cases, conduct regular follow-ups, facilitate return-to-work assessments, and coordinate periodic medical examinations.
  • Health Promotion & Wellness Programs
    Design and implement comprehensive wellness programs that promote mental, physical, and reproductive health, including education on hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, substance abuse, and chronic disease management, while collaborating with local health authorities to support joint health campaigns and outreach.
  • Stakeholder & Program Management
    Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement integrated care plans, while leading wellness initiatives and coordinating workplace health surveillance to identify and mitigate emerging health risks.
  • Occupational Health, Safety & Hygiene
    Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, conducting hazard assessments and incident investigations, and overseeing canteen hygiene through regular inspections and staff training on food safety standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    Maintain accurate and confidential medical and incident records. Prepare regular clinic reports with health statistics and actionable recommendations for review by the HR manager.
  • Resource Management
    Ensure effective management of clinic assets, medical supplies, and budgetary resources by participating in planning and procurement processes, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing cost-control measures that support sustainable, high-quality healthcare service delivery.
  • Quality Improvement
    Drive continuous improvement in healthcare delivery by leading initiatives that enhance patient safety, service quality, and health outcomes, while embedding best practices and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability within the clinic.

Who we're looking for

  • ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
    Diploma in Nursing/Clinical Medicine
    Licensed as a registered Clinical Officer or Nurse with the respective Professional body
    Environment, Health and Safety training
    ISO 14001 certification is an added advantage
  • EXPERIENCE
    Minimum 2 years in hospital setup
    Previous work experience as a Clinician in a Horticultural farm setup will be an added advantage

  • ESSENTIALS
    • Working in a rural farm set-up
    • Coordinating committees within the Farms
    • May involve working weekends and holidays and off times due to medical emergencies
