What makes Clematis Amazing® Tokyo unique
Clematis Amazing® Tokyo is the most vigorous variety in the Clematis Amazing® family, with:
- Long stems up to 80 cm
- Six large flowers per stem
- A vase life of 14 days
The blooms open gradually, from the base of the stem upwards. Despite its strong character, Tokyo appears delicate, graceful and airy. The flowers feature soft pink tones with contrasting yellow stamens. The stems are strong yet flexible, making them wonderfully versatile: ideal for weaving through a framework, in a cascading bouquet, or standing out in a hand-tied arrangement.
Did you know that Tokyo’s flowers turn upwards when the stem is placed horizontally? This is due to a natural phenomenon called geotropism. Real flower magic!

Designer feedback
"It was wonderful working with Clematis Amazing® Tokyo. The first thing that stood out was how many flowers were on a single stem. Then the beautiful colour and the impressive size of the blooms. The delicate veining of the petals contrasts so well with the stamens… a truly stunning combination. Highly recommended!" – Krisztián Kövér
In just a short time, Clematis Amazing® Tokyo has captured the hearts of leading floral designers and florists. We’ve seen it featured in a calming installation by Joseph Massie, a breathtaking bridal bouquet by Hanneke Frankema, a summery arrangement by Krisztián Kövér and a serene funeral design by Chantal Post.
We asked these designers to share their experiences with Tokyo. Curious about their stories?
