The new LED lights target the plants with only the light spectrum needed for the process they need to carry out. Whether it is for lengthening stems, producing berries or growing flowers.

By targeting the plants with only the light they need, Marginpar has cut power use from the old 100W incandescent bulbs, down to in some cases just a 3W LED.

That results in a 97% saving on power! It also leads to a huge reduction in light pollution. The light, and the electricity used to create it, is no longer being lost into the sky, but focused on that what we want to be illuminated. Plus, LEDs have a longer life span, resulting in less plastic and electronic waste.
