Vacancy: Market Demand & Pricing Specialist

In this hybrid role, you work from our Aalsmeer office and from home (up to 40%). You are part of a small, close-knit team where collaboration, short lines of communication, and an open, low-threshold working culture are key. No two days are the same — market movements, demand fluctuations, and pricing decisions keep the work dynamic and engaging.

Due to the auction environment, your working day typically starts around 06:00 and ends between 14:00 and 14:30. Once every three weeks, you work a limited number of hours during the weekend from home (on average 2 hours per day), which are compensated during the week.

Your role

You translate market demand and data into smart pricing and supply decisions. Together with Sales and Sales Support, you help steer daily commercial performance while supporting account managers and customers with operational sales questions.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise auction supply and daily pre-sale pricing based on market demand and performance
• Monitor demand, forecasts, and results (Budget vs Actuals) and identify trends and opportunities
• Create and implement short-term and mid-term commercial offers
• Translate market insights into clear, actionable input for Sales
• Prepare concise product and farm performance reports
• Support account managers and customers with operational sales questions
• Act as backup within the Sales Support team when needed

Your profile

• Relevant commercial work experience, ideally in a market-driven environment
• Analytical, data-driven, and comfortable working with systems
• Clear communicator who enjoys collaboration
• Commercially minded with strong problem-solving skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Flexible and comfortable working early hours and occasional weekend shifts
