BLOOM's Medien - Refreshed & Positive - Gloriosa

Refreshed & Positive

The Refreshed & Positive' design trend is defined by soft, rounded lines, as seen in the shape of the vases and echoed in the curved movement of branches and stems. Vessels may be bright and translucent or more muted and opaque, always complementing the interior’s colour palette. Beautiful glazes are a recurring feature, as are natural materials: structures made from weeping willow, cornus branches or bamboo. Eco-friendly string is wrapped around vases to create a cohesive colour story.

The blooms themselves are fresh and colourful, yet never overpowering. The secret lies in balancing vivid tones with gentle pastels for a harmonious, spring-ready feel.

Design 1: A colourful duo

BLOOM’s Medien used branches from the weeping willow, secured with binding wire, to give extra support to the tall stems in this arrangement. The warm tones of Gloriosa Superba Simba Fifty Shades and Craspedia Paintball™ Pop mirror the colours of the vases, while Delphinium Bella Andes Azure and Clematis Amazing® Sofia add a cool-toned contrast.

Design 2: Vertical lines

This design uses similar materials, but with a new stabilising technique: bamboo, cut and attached to the vessels, supports the stems and strengthens the vertical lines. The willow branches are wrapped around and woven through the structure. Scabiosa Bon Bon Scoop French Vanilla brings soft elegance, while Chasmanthium Latifolium ‘Mantis’ adds a playful note and ties the green hues together.

Design 3: Perfectly tied-in

In this stunning design, cornus branches are used to create a curved design element that doubles as a natural framework for the flowers. Scabiosa Dark Cherry Scoop®, Astilbe Vision in Pink, Delphinium and Chasmanthium are placed in between the Cornus branches for support and precision. The mauve string matches the hue of the Astilbe and adds interesting detail. The Clematis Amazing® Tokyo positioned slightly off to the side, gives the arrangement an exclusive finishing touch.

Design 4:

Underwater structure

The composition continues below the waterline in this beautiful arrangement. Dogwood branches are layered at the base of the vase, forming a supportive structure for the stems while also creating a captivating visual effect: mysterious, natural and beautifully textural. The palette focuses on pink tones, from the pale Scabiosa Bon Bon Scoop French Vanilla to the bright pink Clematis Amazing® Kyiv and Aster Flash. Talinum ‘Long John’ adds transparency and depth.

Design 5:

Bamboo and airy blooms

A bamboo framework brings crisp vertical lines and a fresh green accent. The bamboo is cut at different lengths for a playful and sculptural look. Just adding a few delicate flowers is enough to create a light, airy arrangement that brightens the room. BLOOM’s View selected yellow Gloriosa from the Simba Fifty Shades mix and paired it with the purple Clematis Amazing® Sofia and bright pink Clematis Amazing® Kyiv. Talinum ‘Long John’ and Aster Teeny Tiny Pink add delightful details.

Design 6: Swooping beauty

The base of this design is built from Clematis tendrils bent in a rounded shape. This illustrates how garden materials can become beautiful, sustainable mechanics. The shape is dynamic, with blooms following the direction of the tendrils as if naturally emerging from them, creating a strong sense of movement. Delphinium Bella Andes Azure introduces lightness and a clear vertical line, while Clematis Amazing® Tokyo and Gloriosa add a loose, flowing finish.

Design 7: Playful and energetic

U-shaped cornus branches, intentionally kept at different lengths, form a sturdy natural structure, secured with red string. This technique allows for a precise flower placement and provides support for more flexible stems. Gloriosa and Craspedia deliver bold pops of red and yellow, while Clematis Amazing® Kansas brings a soft, gentle balance. The result is playful, energetic and full of spring spirit.
