Open House 3-8 November

The first week of November brings the international floriculture industry to Aalsmeer. If you are visiting the Trade Fair or IFTF, there is one more stop worth adding to your route: Destination Marginpar.

From 3 to 6 November, between 8:00 and 15:00, we are opening our doors and inviting you into the world behind our flowers.

Start with a Marginpar passport and make your way through our four production countries: Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. Meet the people behind the flowers, explore our farms and see where your favourite varieties begin their journey. Along the way, there is plenty to get curious about. 

See our assortment and upcoming varieties, find out why developing a new Clematis can take around ten years, follow a flower from young plant to Aalsmeer and step behind the scenes of Quality and logistics.

You will also see how topics such as biodiversity, wetlands, soil health and continuous improvement translate into everyday life on our farms. It is a chance to see Marginpar from a different perspective: not just the flowers in the vase, but the ideas, expertise and people behind every stem.
